Armenian Genocide recognition process initiated in Egypt
18:57, 26 July 2016YEREVAN, JULY 26, ARMENPRESS. More than 300 Egyptian lawmakers signed the survey on putting up to vote the bill on recognizing the Armenian Genocide, RIA Novosti reported citing Youm7.
The initiator of the survey is famous Egyptian reporter and MP Mustafa Bakri.
According to his colleague Faiza Barakyatay, in case of adoption, the bill will be “a response to Turkey’s hostile actions against Egypt and official Ankara’s attempts to interfere in Egypt’s internal affairs”.
