Armenian Defense Minister holds meeting with Greek Ambassador
12:18, 26 October 2016YEREVAN, OCTOBER 26, ARMENPRESS. Defense Minister of Armenia Vigen Sargsyan on October 26 held a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Greece to Armenia Nafsika Nancy Eva Vraila, press service of the Ministry told “Armenpress”.
Issues related to the Armenian-Greek bilateral cooperation in the field of defense were discussed at the meeting. Defense Minister Sargsyan said Greece is among the first countries with which Armenia has started the international cooperation in the defense and peacekeeping sectors, and this cooperation is currently at the highest level.
In her turn the Greek Ambassador informed that the cooperation presents a mutual interest and the Greek side is ready to develop it.
Regional security issues were also touched upon during the meeting.
