Shot fired as altercation escalates into violent brawl in Jrarat village, Armavir
17:03, 14 March 2017YEREVAN, MARCH 14, ARMENPRESS. Shots were fired in Armavir’s Jrarat village on March 14 when an altercation between school students escalated into a brawl of adults.
The Police HQ told ARMENPRESS one of the individuals involved had a firearm, which the others attempted to grab.
According to preliminary reports, during the brawl a shot was fired. Three people suffered injuries, one was hit by the gunshot to the leg, another was stabbed and one sustained a fractured arm.
Three people have been hospitalized.
“Police officers prevented the altercation, the firearm has been confiscated. Police are taking appropriate actions and the situation is under control of the officers”, the police said.
