World renowned director David Mackenzie proposes Armenian government to establish school of TV and Cinema
13:28, 23 March 2017YEREVAN, MARCH 23, ARMENPRESS. Recently the government of Armenia received a proposal from internationally renowned director David Mackenzie on founding a Cinema and TV school in Armenia, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan said during the Cabinet meeting, adding according to the proposal the school will operate as a partner of the Los Angeles School of Cinema and within three years it will acquire necessary filmmaking equipment from the US and other countries.
“I task the culture minister to study the proposal within a two-week period and present an opinion to the government”, he said.
