YEREVAN, MARCH 28, ARMENPRESS. Gevorg Poghosyan, Director of Institute of Philosophy, Sociology and Law at the National Academy of Sciences, says the results of public opinion polls published in Yerevan on March 27 are fake, reports Armenpress.

He says all specialized research centers know that a professional ethics exists for presenting the results. It is an internationally accepted form and is approved by ESOMAR.

“They must specify the location of conducting the survey (city, village), the sample size, the structures, the applied research method (telephone survey, online survey, face to face survey, visits to houses and etc.). Finally, it is unknown who is their Armenian partner, with whom they have conducted the survey and who is their customer. I don’t think that these unknown Lithuanians arrived in Armenia on their own expenses and conducted the survey. In short, it was a funny hooliganism. I just consider it meaningless to discuss the survey “results”, the sociologist writes on Facebook.

On March 27 the analysis of public opinion polls conducted by KOG (Institute for Marketing and Communication Sciences) and Demokratijos projektai were presented in Yerevan. The polls were conducted from March 8 to 17.
