Putin and Merkel to meet in Sochi on May 2
14:26, 26 April 2017YEREVAN, APRIL 26, ARMENPRESS. Russian president Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on May 2 in Sochi, Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed.
“I can confirm it”, Peskov told reporters.
During a meeting with minister-president of Bavaria Horst Seehofer on March 16, Putin said he expects the meeting with Germany’s Chancellor on May 2.
“My best regards to the federal Chancellor. We are waiting for Mrs. Merkel’s visit on May 2”, he said.
