Yeremyan Academy hosts representatives from Institut Lyfe French school

YEREVAN, MARCH 13, ARMENPRESS.  The Academy of Culinary Arts and Hospitality of "Yeremyan Projects" hosted the representatives of the famous French school Institut Lyfe (formerly Institut Paul Bocuse): Head of Adult and Vocational Education Dominique Brunet, International Program Director Sophie Bellon, Chef of the Saisons gastronomic restaurant of the Lyfe Institute - teacher and honored master Alain Le Cossec.

The delegation from the French school Institut Lyfe arrived in Armenia on a working visit at the invitation of the "Tumo" creative technology center, as part of the framework for the reconstruction of the old market of Gyumri and the establishment of a cooking school.

Accompanied by Davit Yeremyan, Director General of the "Yeremyan Projects" company and Aida Tigranyan, Director of the Academy, the guests toured the Academy and became acquainted with its structure, educational programs, student conditions and technical equipment. During their visit, the guests also met with Karen Khachatryan, the Academy's chef, who shared his experience, approaches and vision for developing culinary programs at the Academy.

According to the French partners, the "Yeremyan Academy" is making an important contribution to positive changes and progress in the field in Armenia.

"We have been in Armenia for the first time  and our goal is to discover this country's culinary culture and industry. We are very impressed with the Academy, the programs and the conditions created for the students," said Dominique Brunet.

According to Sophie Bellon, thanks to such projects and initiatives, the field can develop.

 "It may seem like small steps, but believe me, all of this is of great importance so that the next generations can work on and develop the restaurant industry and culinary culture," she said.

  "The structure and facilities of the Academy, especially the kitchen, are quite good and efficient. It is very important that the Academy provides people with such opportunities to develop and advance in the field. A professional and trained team is working, and it is significant that you both preserve and pass on the treasures of Armenian culture and cuisine," said Alain Le Cossec.

 General Director of "Yeremyan Projects," Davit Yeremyan, noted: "We are glad that we have hosted colleagues from a country with a rich culinary history and unique traditions, to whom we present our years of work and accumulated experience. The representatives of the Institut Lyfe French school are studying the development of culinary history in Armenia, and it is binding for us to host them as a structure that has made a great contribution to the preservation and dissemination of the hospitality and culinary traditions."

 Director of "Yeremyan Academy," Aida Tigranyan, added:  "Hosting representatives of international partners and various organizations at the Academy has already become a tradition for us. We gladly share our experience, present our activities and opportunities. Similar meetings will be a wonderful opportunity to share experiences and outline possible cooperation. It is very pleasant and important for us that all the guests are impressed by the Academy, highly appreciate our efforts and acknowledge our investments in developing the sector in Armenia."

The Academy of Culinary Arts and Hospitality of "Yeremyan Projects" is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year, within the framework of which a number of events are planned.
