YEREVAN, JULY 19, ARMENPRESS. Within the framework of the “Upgrading power transmission” loan program carried out in the Armenian power system with the assistance of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, an agreement has been signed through an international tender with main contractor AB SUBSTATIONS AND COBRA INSTALACIONES Y SERVICIOS S.A. (Sweden/Spain), for the construction of the 220KW substation of Yerevan Thermal Power Plant.

The agreement is worth 11.3 million dollars, 4.7 million Euros and 6.9 Swedish krona.

A new 220 KW substation will be constructed under the agreement for the TPP.
