YEREVAN, AUGUST 26, ARMENPRESS. ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK and the Central bank of Armenia have signed a loan agreement in the frameworks of “Energy efficiency for SMEs” loan project implemented by the German KFW bank.

As “Armenpress” was informed from ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK, the agreement intends to disburse commercial and express loans in AMD to SMEs with 11-13.8% annual interest rate and thus promote the development of alternative energy usage and increase of the business operations’ effectiveness in the economy of Armenia. This will allow the SMEs to make investments in the purchase of energy efficient systems.

According to the reached agreement the loans will be disbursed with the duration from 2-5 years. The maximum amount of the loan can comprise 500.000.000 AMD.

If necessary, energy audit can be implemented during the loan disbursement process, which will allow to estimate the efficiency of the future investments.
