YEREVAN, MARCH 23, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan tasked the Minister of Territorial Administration and Development, as well as Governors within a month to organize the review process of community development 5-year programs by fully engaging community people in the respective discussions, reports “Armenpress”.

“In December 2016 the community leaders were provided with the new methodology over formation of community development 5-year programs. However, the results of development programs of 923 communities, as well as the meetings with community residents show that the community leaders didn’t fully discuss them with the residents. There were cases when the community residents were even not aware of these programs or they raise key issues for the community that are not included in programs”, the PM said.  

At the same time, the PM instructed the Minister of Territorial Administration and Development within 3 weeks to select the best 5-year community development programs and hold a discussion over it in the Government.
