YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 25, ARMENPRESS. Armenia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on the offensive attempt launched by Azerbaijan in the Nagorno Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact overnight February 25.

“Armenpress” presents the full statement:

“Contrary to the calls of the international community, the demands of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairing countries to strictly adhere to the 1994-1995 ceasefire agreements and to refrain from the use of force and threat of use of force, last night the offensive attempt committed by the Azerbaijani side in the line of contact between Azerbaijan and Nagorno Karabakh is Baku’s another blow to the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairing countries aimed at peacefully settling he Karabakh conflict.

Continuing the attempts to fail the agreements reached in Vienna and St. Petersburg aimed at creating respective conditions for the negotiation process, Baku deliberately escalates the situation, makes new provocations.

We again draw the attention of the international community, first of all the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairing countries on the strict necessity to sober up Baku, bring it to a reality field”.
