Three climbers die trying to reach Everest summit

YEREVAN, MAY 22, ARMENPRESS. Three climbers have died and one is missing on Mount Everest.

According to The Washington Post, the death of the climbers was confirmed only after weather conditions allowed rescuers to reach the scene.

Local media reported the victims are citizens of US, Slovakia and Australia.

The American victim, Roland Yearwood from Alabama, was a physician. Earlier in 2015 he safely climbed Everest and even survived an avalanche.

More than 250 in people in total have died trying to reach the summit of Everest.
