YEREVAN, MAY 26, ARMENPRESS. Law enforcement agencies are investigating the death of a 13 year old child in Yerevan, the investigative committee told ARMENPRESS.

Police were notified at 19:25, on May 25, that a child has fallen off the Davitashen Bridge.

First responders were immediately dispatched to the scene. The body had no traces of violence, suggesting no foul play was involved.

According to preliminary information, the 13 year old child has climbed up the bridge barrier and walked on it, lost balance and fell off.

An autopsy and expertise are underway.

The police are probing the incident to determine all details and circumstances.
