Artsakh’s schools will be closed from tomorrow, State Secretary urges to save electricity

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS. Starting from tomorrow, the schools of the Republic of Artsakh will not work, ARMENPRESS reports, Artsakh’s Minister of State Ruben Vardanyan announced live on Facebook.

In his speech, Vardanyan referred to the fact that Azerbaijan cut off the entire gas supply to Artsakh.

"It means that we have to save a lot on all our energy costs, we have to do everything understanding the reality, try to preserve our way of life," he said, adding that they will have to close schools from tomorrow.

According to him, everyone should do everything to show who are the people of Artsakh and how they can overcome this difficult situation.

The minister once again appealed to Artsakh Armenians to be frugal in the use of electricity.

"We are doing everything to let the whole world know about the situation, I urge you to stay strong and believe that we will overcome this difficult situation. We are in a crisis, but we continue to live and are confident in our future," he said.
