YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. Coming 2-3 years will be of key importance for the effective implementation of the transitional provisions of the Constitution, “Armenpress” reports President of Armenia, leader of the RPA Serzh Sargsyan mentioned in his speech at the 16^th convention of the party.

“We have spoken in detail about this many times. The role of the parties significantly rises in our social-political life by the new Constitution. From now on, person-parties will vanish by themselves. Ideological supporters must be the main factor for political parties”, Serzh Sargsyan said, adding that the changes will lead to a clearer separation between the ruling and opposition polars.

According to Serzh Sargsyan, the Republican Party must assume a special mission during this transitional period.
