Vanadzor cops apprehend stabbing suspect, two hospitalized
16:04, 22 March 2017YEREVAN, MARCH 22, ARMENPRESS. Amid ongoing investigation in the Lori provincial investigative department of the Investigative Committee, several significant circumstances have been revealed on the stabbing of two people in Vanadzor city, the suspect has been apprehended.
On March 21, at 00:15 law enforcement agencies were notified from the Vanadzor Medical center that 54 year old V. Hovhannisyan has been admitted to the hospital with a stabbing wound, and hours later another man, 59 year old S. Saroyan was admitted again with stabbing wounds.
Law enforcement agencies revealed the two men suffered injuries during an altercation by the same person.
A criminal case has been launched. The crime scene has been searched and medical/forensic expertise has been set.
Investigation continues.
