Nearly 50 injured in Brazil riots

YEREVAN, MAY 25, ARMENPRESS. 49 people have been injured and 7 have been arrested in mass riots in Brazil’s capital, Folha de Sao Paulo reports.
Mass protests were held on May 24 in Brasilia demanding the resignation of president Temer.
Estimates suggest 100,000 – 150,000 people participated in the riots, however authorities say only 30,000 protesters were involved.
Official buildings have been damages, as protesters destroyed the facades of seven ministry buildings, accompanied by looting and arson.
