‘War is really over in Syria’, says Russian FM
10:18, 13 September 2019YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced that war is over in Syria, Trud newspaper reported.
“The war is really over in Syria. The country is gradually returning to its normal life”, the Russian FM said, adding that separate tension points are maintained in the territories out of control of the Syrian authorities.
The minister said Russia supports the restoration of Syria’s territorial integrity. According to him, overcoming the consequences of war will ensure security and stability in the Middle East.
