2 girls of newborn quintuplets in critical but stable condition

YEREVAN, MAY 9, ARMENPRESS. The condition of 3 of the newborn quintuplets remains unchanged, doctor on duty at the neonatal intensive care unit of Muratsan hospital told Armenpress.

He informed that the baby boy remains in critical-serious condition.

The two girls are in critical but stable condition. A doctor on duty at St. Mary hospital said one of the girls was transferred to their hospital with 820 grams of weight.

“As of today, the baby weighs 860 grams. This means that there is already a positive dynamics in her recovery. When the baby weighs 1.5 kg, we can already state that her life is no longer at risk”, the doctor said.

A 23-year-old woman from the town of Metsamor gave birth to quintuplets on May 3. Two of the babies have died.
